Every once in a while, my friends and even my family members tell me that intermittent fasting is a bunch of BS. My answer always is that if so, how come it works for me, for two years. At 60, I don't expect to look great, but I am at my best weight in a while, and I feel great. My only regret is that I didn't hear about it 20 years ago. So if you are 40 something, here is a hint for you.
Please remember that plenty of people would lose a lot of money if people started to switch to IF in bigger numbers. That is why there are "studies" out there that conclude that it doesn't work.
The difference between IF and any diet is that you don't need any cookbook or books with many pages to justify the price. All you need to know is that you stop eating at a particular time and resume 16 (18 or even 20) hours later, simple. Even better, you can combine that with any diet if you want to.
